We’re looking to hire a passionate and motivated Customer Success Manager to lead satisfaction, retention, adoption, operations and revenue efforts across ID5’s global brands.

About this role

This role will own the relationship with ID5’s strategic customers (DSP, SSP, Data Platforms, Brands & Agencies). The candidate will be the primary point of contact throughout the customer journey.

This team is critical to ID5 and the role will cover a lot of ground: onboarding, ongoing enablement, key milestone outreach, escalations, attaining cross-sell quotas, and contract renewals. We work closely with other teams as needed such as Product, Solution Engineers, Legal, Marketing etc. Crucial to this role is the ability to build relationships at multiple levels across an organisation, a strong attention to detail and capacity to understand technical setups within the Ad Tech industry.  The Customer Success Manager owns retention and revenue growth on their book of business. Clients are located globally and this role will own an international book of business.

ID5 is a rapidly growing start up, so you will have the opportunity to help shape the customer journey and CSM related processes, and be part of the foundational core team.


  • Work closely with strategic global customers to explain the ID5 value proposition and its benefit in a cookie-less world. Become their trusted advisors.
  • Onboard customers to the ID5 identity platform by explaining the service, liaising with the various stakeholders (commercial, technical, legal), communicating technical specifications and providing training and support.
  • Manage retention, renewals and upsell/revenue growth
  • Be the first point of contact for usage-related questions, coordinating with internal resources (product, operations, R&D) to provide accurate and timely responses.
  • Consult with clients regularly to ensure their needs are being met and any issues resolved.
  • Define and deliver a service structure to these partners to expand ID5’s scope of work (adding new geos and developing more senior relationships) and to meet their ongoing expectations
  • Liaise with ID5’s Product and Engineering teams to contribute to the design of new features and capabilities to improve the service by providing feedback from clients and prospects.


  • 3-5 years of work experience in Advertising Technology or agencies
  • Experience owning accounts and managing upsells is preferred
  • Someone with a quantitative mind, who has a strong interest for and understanding of digital advertising technologies and has the ability to simplify complicated technical topics. A keen interest in technology and experience in Ad Operations or Technical Account Management is helpful.
  • A person committed to customer success with a strong sense of service and willingness to help grow relationships.
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to build strong trusted relationships, fluent in English and speaking a second language is a bonus
  • An entrepreneurial-minded individual who will thrive in a startup environment. Responsibility, autonomy, enthusiasm, humility, drive and a willingness to learn are key characteristics required to be successful in this role
